Availability of Goods
As all our products
are made by small, local artisan producers, we may occasionally need
to substitute products with others of equal quality and value. Please note that weights may also vary slightly. Accordingly we
reserve the right to substitute items for those of equal or greater
value in the event of non-availability of any listed goods.
The photographs
used in our website are illustrative only, and whilst we endeavour
to ensure that all descriptions are accurate, contents may sometimes
vary from those viewed in the photographs (in line with the
paragraph above).
Any items such as
crockery and glassware, unless specifically mentioned in the product
description, should be regarded as photographic props.
How
to Order
Your order (including your credit or debit card details) will be
sent to us online via a secure server. If we are unable to fulfil
your order (for example, because we have run out of stock), we will
inform you of this within 24 hours of receiving your order.
You
can also place an order by contacting us by telephone when we can
take payment by debit or visa card over the phone, or alternatively
you can send a cheque. Please note that orders paid by cheque will
not be despatched until the cheque has cleared.
Payment for corporate orders will be negotiated and arranged
separately.
Acknowledgement of orders
Any orders received
online, will receive an acknowledgement of the order by email within
24 hours. Please contact us if no acknowledgement is received within
this period.
If you place an
order by phone, a member of staff will contact you to confirm that
the goods will be dispatched; this will be regarded as confirmation
of your order. You will also receive written confirmation of your
order.
We
will be contractually bound to fulfil your order if we have
confirmed your order but not otherwise.
Cancellation of Orders
As
we aim to despatch orders within 4 working days, if you wish to
cancel an order you must contact us by email or telephone within 2
working days of placing your order.
Delivery Times
Where possible we will deliver accepted orders within the UK within
4 working days.
If there is any
delay with these expected delivery times we will contact you and
keep you informed. However, if you urgently need an item for next
day delivery, please do not hesitate to call us and we will
endeavour to dispatch your order to meet your personal requirements.
UK Delivery Method
Delivery will normally be by courier. Where possible we will deliver
accepted orders within the UK within 4 working days. If there is any
delay with these expected delivery times we will email or telephone
you to keep you informed.
Hampers containing
fresh produce will be delivered Tuesday to Friday, Hampers
containing only ambient products will be delivered Monday to Friday.
Any fresh food items such as cheese, smoked poultry or fish cannot
be despatched on a Friday for Monday delivery as they require next
day delivery to ensure goods are received in perfect condition.
We can arrange
delivery for Saturday morning however, this will incur extra costs –
please contact us direct to arrange this.
Please note the
carrier is only responsible for delivering against signature to the
address that you quote. Please ensure that all addresses given are
accurate and include a postcode and telephone number of recipient.
Where the courier is unable to make contact at the given address
they will deliver to an immediate neighbour or leave a card at the
address for the recipient to make contact.
Payment
You may pay by
Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Solo and Delta; please select option at
checkout stage.
You
can also place an order by contacting us by telephone where we can
take payment by debit or visa card over the phone, or alternatively
you can send a cheque. Please note that orders paid by cheque will
not be despatched until the cheque has cleared.
Your payment should
be received within 48 hours of placing order; despatch will take
place within 2 working days of cleared payment.
Payment for corporate orders will be negotiated and arranged
separately.
Refunds
We strive to sell products of the very highest quality only. If for
any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase please telephone
or email us to alert us to the problem.

If goods have been damaged in transit, please contact us immediately
and they will be replaced at no additional cost to the customer.

process and fulfil your orders. We may occasionally inform you about
